Memories from the Past...
Do you remember our trip to Stockton where the excitement was generated from the flippin dice game that we played on the bus and watching Bob Quist as he was turned loose in the all you can eat Chinese smorgy?

Other than the victory over Foothill and a couple of wins over DVC, the meet with Monterey Peninsula College was one of the most competitive meets that we won.

The great State meet by Bruce Oliver, Tom Vance hunting for golf balls outside of the motel,Bob Quist stopping after 150 on his leg of a 200 freestyle, our two divers-- Tom Vance and Tom Trapp. This was the last swim team that I coached at CSM, and I certainly remember and appreciate Rich Kuntze who took care of our meals, lodging, transportation, as well as the end of the year statistics book.

Finally, DVC took it in the shorts again as CSM won the canoe race around Disneyland's Tom Sawyer Island.
