How good is your memory? Do you remember when Jack McNees climbed out of the Los Angeles Coliseum pool and mooned the crowd with the view from under his ripped bathing suit? Do you remember giving coach the name "Biggie"? Do you remember when "Biggie" said to Bob Kahl, "Vas machst du Gooner?" Do you remember meeting some of Boyd's friends in every city that we traveled? Ach zo herr Schulz. Do you remember the dynamic duo of Bob Ward and Andy Burke borrowing hair spray from the O Club? The big question...Why? Do you remember Jimmy Gaughran looking at me inquisitively and asking, "Excuse me, but are you Jewish?" Okay Jimmy Okay the answer is yes, and I know I don't look it. Do you remember hearing Bob Gaughran's whistling coming from the hole?" I played 12 games with him before I knew he could speak. Do you remember the time we were at that yacht club in Chicago playing "thumper" and Art Lambert poured his beer under the table? Do you really remember? My sneakers are still wet. Do you remember that night in Chicago when we paid a visit to the "Tip, Top, Tap Room" and that nasty lady Miska wanted someone to buy her a beer? Do you rememberJay Flood having to play goalie because our goalie was ejected? Do you remember Coach Ed getting me kicked out because he encouraged to talk to the referee with a little Yiddish. All I said, while questioning why a goal was not allowed was, "zo how far in zeet haf tu go? Do you remember Sam Citron with his teeth?, without his teeth? Do you remember Bill Augenstein's "chi chi's"? ----yo Augie. Do you remember the late Don Peterson? The man could swim and play the game!, but he never saw his feet. Do you remember Jack Spargo's backhands? Amazing for a guy with those arms. Do you remember the Sunday practices at Searsville Lake where the floating goals floated all over the lake? and Ed refereed from a row boat? Do you remember the Wednesday night practices at the Club, in salt water so cold that every part of your anatomy jumped up into your throat?
